So we went to Huncho House for our 10-year anniversary on Friday night. Honestly, the food was really good overall, though I've gotta say, some of it was a little over-seasoned. But hey, I guess that just comes down to personal taste. We kicked things off with the deviled eggs, and the bacon jam they used was a seriously great touch. That appetizer was a hit. For mains, we ordered the lobster ravioli and the Hawaiian ribeye steak. The steak came out perfectly cooked—exactly the temp I asked for, which is a big relief when you're shelling out $65 for it. But the ravioli was kind of a letdown. It was basically just regular cheese ravioli with a lobster sauce poured over it, not actually filled with lobster meat like I expected. My final thought? The prices are pretty high for what they offer and especially for where the place is located—that was a bit of a surprise. It was good, but maybe a little too expensive for the overall experience. I was a little dissapointed by the front of House, the table wobbled and when they called to confirm my reservation there was no mention of the AC being broken which made the beginning of the meal a bit uncomfortable. We spent about 180 with no alcohol.
We did a Tuesday night Celebration of LIFE date night thing and The Huncho House met ALL our expectations! We were greeted at the door with a glass of amazing Champagne! ALL of the staff was personable & friendly. Chef Tobias was so warm and humble. Food was Fab! Decor bomb! Drinks Dope! Music and sound system top notch! We LOVED Everything Huncho House and will be back again soon! 10for10 Fa Sho! Sexy, slick definitely an elevation not only on one's palate but an Elevation Experience!
Holy moly, this place is the real deal. From beginning to end it was an amazing experience. Wife grabbed the deviled eggs to start and I ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls. For the main course I ordered the jerk short ribs and my wife got the 10oz filet that was cooked to perfection. The mixed drinks didn’t disappoint and I can’t wait to get back to Huncho House.
